The B.B. Dance Competition Team is an elite group of dedicated dancers who perform and compete nationally, representing our studio at local competitions throughout the season. With numerous awards to their name, this talented team showcases their skills at national competitions spanning from Myrtle Beach to Las Vegas.
For seven consecutive years, our team has been honored as the ADCC Studio of Excellence, a testament to our commitment to excellence, even with a break in 2020 due to the pandemic. The bonds formed within this team quickly create a family atmosphere, as members spend countless hours in the studio and travel together across the country. Being part of this team requires commitment and dedication, but the lasting impact on each dancer is invaluable.
To join the B.B. Dance Competition Team, dancers must secure a teacher recommendation, participate in our summer boot camp, and audition at the end of the summer. The audition process is designed to mimic industry experiences, allowing dancers to learn combinations from various instructors in styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, and hip hop. After learning these combinations, they will perform in front of a panel of judges. This comprehensive audition process not only prepares dancers for competition but also sets the stage for their future careers in the dance industry.
