Vekiza Williams

Vekiza is a Charlotte native and an alumna of B.B. Dance Productions. She began dancing at age 2 and was a competitive dancer for 13 years before transitioning to instruction over the past two years. Vekiza earned a degree in psychology from Charleston Southern University and obtained a Master of Science in Psychology while working as a Juvenile Probation and Parole Supervisor in Summerville, SC, for 11 years. After returning to Charlotte, she earned a Master of Science in Special Education and currently serves as a Special Education Teacher for Gaston County Schools.

Vekiza is thrilled to be back at B.B. Dance, where she can share her passion for dance and life lessons with her students. She believes that each of her students possesses unique qualities that will help them grow both as dancers and individuals. Vekiza lives by the quote, “Life is like dancing – it’s not about getting from one place to another. It’s about enjoying each step.”
